Great beauty is found in nature and has been captured on
film for many years. Now, with
digital cameras we are able to go beyond the
limitations of film and finding those "photographic" moments is greatly
improved. Without the cost of film and developing, we can now take more
photos and see them instantly! It is very easy to delete those less then
perfect shots and also know if we've captured what we had
intended.
I only really got into taking digital photos in the fall
of 2008, when I wanted photos to share with family online. Not having any
vacation pictures to share like others did, I decided I'd find things to
take pictures of that were in my own backyard. At the time, living in
rural Saskatchewan, the best was in nature,
itself.
I found that I really enjoyed taking pictures of nature
and continue to carry my camera with me on most outbound excursions. This
allows me to be ready when the next good photo opportunity presents
itself. For more photos they will be added to my gallery here in
Tubbleville or at Flickr another great photo sharing
site.
Some of my photos are already at my Flickr website that I recently opened. I have uploaded 50
photos so far and they are available to be viewed there. Once I get more
uploaded each month, I will assemble them into albums for easier
viewing.
